We recommend booking tickets in advance to secure your preferred time. Your ticket is valid for 2 hours.
Saunas are mixed-gender, so a swimsuit is required. Please bring your own swimsuit.

In summer, you’ll stroll to the water on a sandy beach, and in winter, we have a hole in the lake ice.
The ice hole is accessible for both first-time dippers and experienced winter swimmers.
Bathing in a sauna and winter swimming are claimed to have several positive health effects.

Ukko
The Fire Sauna
In Finnish folklore, Ukko is the king of all gods and the master of weather and thunder.
That’s why our most traditional sauna, the smoke sauna, belongs to Ukko.
This dark and atmospheric sauna is hot and fiery when tempted. The best way to enjoy it is to pour water gently on one spot of the stove for slowly increasing and relaxing heat.
Tapio
The Earth Sauna
Tapio is the antlered king of the forest, protector of the animals.
In this sauna, you’ll find the feeling of earth and forest while enjoying the “löyly”, hot steam.
The sauna has four massive stoves: North, East, South and West, plus a distinctive löyly divider, a feature that makes this sauna truly different.
Vellamo
The Water Sauna
Vellamo is the goddess of water, the ruler of lakes and rivers.
This sauna has a panoramic view over lake Jerisjärvi and delivers soft and steamy heat.
Over the stove, there’s a bowl that gently drips water and slowly increases heat and humidity, letting you enjoy the beautiful lake scenery outside the window.
Repo
The Northern Lights sauna
Repo is an old Finnish term for fox. Revontulet, fox fire, is Finnish for the Northern Lights.
Our Repo sauna is a two-floor panorama view experience of the northern sky and lake Jerisjärvi.
The facilities include a private toilet, changing room and showers.
Please note that Repo sauna may be privately booked during opening hours.
Arctic swimming
Take a cooling dip in lake Jerisjärvi before, after and during sauna.
In summer we have lovely sandy beach, in winter there’s a hole in the frozen lake to dip into or even go swim a lap.
Taste Lapland at restaurant Jierra and Saiho Bar & Lounge
Sauna drinks and snacks are available at restaurant Jierra during Arctic Sauna World opening hours.
Make your sauna visit taste even better at Saiho Bar & Lounge before or after enjoying the relaxing saunas. Share a Lappish antipasti with Finnish cheeses, reindeer salami, gravlax and cloudberry jam—or go for BBQ ribs or a House Burger with fries. Walk-ins are welcome at Jeris Lakeside Resort.

Begin your evening with a relaxed four-course Harriniva Signature Dinner at restaurant Jierra, then continue to Arctic Sauna World for a calm sauna experience by Lake Jerisjärvi.
The Harriniva Signature Dinner Experience brings together dining and sauna in one smooth plan. Seasonal Northern flavours, a warm lakeside setting, and unhurried sauna time create a natural flow for the evening.
Local ingredients such as reindeer, Arctic char, and cloudberries are prepared with care and served just steps away from the saunas, making it easy to move from the dinner table to the warmth of the sauna.

Find Arctic Sauna World at Jeris Lakeside Resort, 20 kilometres east of Muonio town centre, next to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.
We are a 40-minute drive away from Levi and a 50-minute drive from Ylläs.
