Five decades of adventure
Established in 1973, we’ve grown from a small activity pioneer to a full-service holiday resort.
All our nature adventures like husky and snowmobile tours and white-water rafting start right outside, as do our multi-day wilderness tours.
On the bank of Europe’s longest free river
We lie right by Europe’s longest free-flowing river, the Tornion-Muonionjoki. As you fish under the Midnight Sun, you see Sweden across the river.
On winter nights, you can stroll on the frozen river marveling at the Northern Lights and the starry sky.
Nearby nature offers plenty to discover on your own, and our expert guides safely lead you deeper into the awe-inspiring beauty of Lapland’s pure arctic wilderness through activities of your choice.
Family business since day one
We’re a family business in the third generation. It all started with grandfather Hansi and grandmother Eini Pietikäinen setting up a riverside camping ground in 1973.
With half a century of know-how, a professional staff, and a great deal of returning customers, we continue to create unique outdoor experiences and time again welcome people back to our beautiful natural landscape.
