Activities
Into the Wilderness with Huskies
You will spend five days and four nights in the wilderness mushing and taking care of your own team of huskies. The nights are spent at a simple, but cozy cabin and you will participate in daily tasks, such as taking care of the dogs and feeding them, helping your guide with prepping meals, making fire, carrying water and heating the sauna and the wilderness cabin.
To start your tour, you will be provided with your equipment and meet with the guide who will give you an introduction to the program of the coming week. You meet your own team of huskies, pack the sleds and learn how to handle the sled and mush. Tour is driven 1 person / sled. The route will take you through the beautiful forest sceneries, over frozen lakes and along the rivers in Lappish nature.
Accommodation
All accommodation is with shared facilities. Accommodation on your first and last night is in Harriniva Adventure Resort and during the safari you will spend four nights in wilderness cabins. Wilderness cabins are simple but cozy huts without electricity and typically
with one big living room with shared sleeping quarters. Each cabin has a sauna for washing and a wilderness toilet without running water.

Important information:
5-days husky safari is not suitable for children. We recommend this safari only for those aged 18 and over due to long days in the wilderness and varying weather conditions. There are no shared driving possibilities.
Should you wish to discontinue your overnight husky safari for reasons other than emergency evacuation, you will be charged an evacuation fee of 460€ per person. Evacuation fee covers the pickup from the wilderness and additional fee according to available accommodation is also charged.
