Activities

The Huskies

The most wanted activity in Harriniva is to drive a husky sledge! Imagine yourself in the heart of a snowy forest, surrounded by silence and crisp winter air. This 1,5-hour husky activity offers an unforgettable experience where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the energy of the huskies. After a brief introduction to the route and safety instructions, you harness the huskies and set off on your adventure. The huskies are eager and ready to take you through snowy trails and forests.

The Reindeer

Learn about reindeer husbandry and to throw suopunki, the Lappish lasso. The experience is not complete without the reindeer sleigh ride – test your driving skills on a short reindeer tour through the forest.

Start Your Snowmobile Engines

Explore the frozen wilderness of Lapland on a snowmobile safari! The thrilling snowmobiling tour takes

you to beautiful snowy sceneries, across frosty forests and frozen lakes.

Snowshoeing in National Park

Visit the Pallas National Park, the largest fell area in western Lapland, and breathe in the purest air in the world. Hike higher up the fell and experience the most beautiful views and the vastness of the fell landscapes around you.

Aurora program

This guided snowshoeing or walking tour takes you to the beautiful snowy forest in the evening. Enjoy the silence and surrounding nature and keep your eyes on the sky for the magical Northern Lights. Marvel the moon and the stars, or simply enjoy the splendor of the quiet, wintry forest.

All activities can be shared with other guests. Guests with same arrival may have different schedule in some activities.

Snowmobile safaris have a self-liability of max. 1200€ per snowmobile. The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driving license in B-category.

This is an an activity itinerary example – the complete schedule will be informed latest upon arrival

On your arrival day you will be transported to your resort directly from Kittilä airport (KTT) or from Kolari railway station. On the first evening you will be having dinner and you will have a change to pick up your winter clothing either in the evening or on first morning, depending on your arrival time.
