By plane
The closest airport to Muonio and Harriniva Hotels & Safaris is Kittilä airport one hour transfer away. Enontekiö airport lies one hour and Rovaniemi airport three hours away.
Most of our holiday packages include an airport transfer. If you haven’t booked a transfer, you can rent a car from Kittilä airport.
You can also use the airport transfer service to Muonio. Please see detailed information about the public transportation on the Finavia website.

By train
Kolari train station lies one hour transfer from Harriniva Hotels & Safaris in Muonio.
Our winter holiday packages include transfers from/to Kolari railway station. If you haven´t booked a package or transfer separately, you can also use public transportation. Timetables can be found from Matkahuolto website.

By bus
Find bus connections to Muonio on Finnish bus service company Matkahuolto website.
Harriniva Adventure Resort is located 3 km before Muonio village centre when arriving from Kolari via road E8. The bus stop lies 300 metres from the resort.
Jeris Lakeside Resort has a bus stop called “Jerisjärvi, Muonio” next to the hotel. Some bus routes between Muonio and Kittilä go through Jeris Lakeside Resort.

Arctic Route Cross-Border Bus Service
Arctic Route bus service operates in Northern Norway, Swedish Lapland and Finnish Lapland daily in winter
1st of December – 31st of March and in summer from 1st June to 31st of August every year.
Destinations include Tromso, Alta, Narvik and Rovaniemi.
