The Huskies
The most wanted experience in Harriniva is to drive a husky sledge! Imagine yourself in the heart of a snowy forest, surrounded by silence and crisp winter air. This 1,5 hour husky activity offers an unforgettable experience where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the energy of the huskies. After a brief introduction to the route and safety instructions, you set off on your adventure. The huskies are eager and ready to take you through snowy trails and forests.Husky sledge is driven by our professional handlers while you can sit back and enjoy the ride with one family per sledge.
The Reindeer
Learn about reindeer husbandry and to throw suopunki, the Lappish lasso. The experience is not complete without the reindeer sleigh ride – test your driving skills on a short reindeer tour through the forest.
Santa Visit with Snowfun activities
Meeting with Santa in Santa´s house one family at the time. While waiting your own turn to visit Santa, there is great time to enjoy winter activities like cross-country skiing, snowshoes, floorball/ football, and mini skidoo for the children.
The Auroras (only for 4 night stay)
This guided tour takes you to outdoors in the evening. Enjoy the silence and surrounding nature and keep your eyes on the sky for the magical Northern Lights. Marvel the moon and the stars, or simply enjoy the splendor of the quiet, wintry scenery.
Start Your Snowmobile Engines
Explore the frozen wilderness of Lapland on a snowmobile safari! The thrilling snowmobiling tour takes you to beautiful snowy sceneries, across frosty forests and frozen lakes.
Activity itinerary example – the complete schedule will be informed latest upon arrival
On your arrival day you will be transported to your resort directly from Kittilä airport (KTT) or from Kolari railway station. On the first evening you will be having dinner and you will have a change to pick up your winter clothing either in the evening or on first morning, depending on your arrival time.
Important information
Snowmobile safaris have a self-liability of max. 1200€ per snowmobile. The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driving license in B-category.
