Into the Wilderness with Huskies

Embark on an overnight tour to the wilderness! The 2-day dog-mushing experience starts right after breakfast. Check-out of your hotel rooms, pack up your gear, get to know your own team of dogs and learn how to handle the sled. Each person will mush their own team of huskies. Travel through wintery arctic landscapes, prepare lunches on the way in the wilderness, and learn some wilderness skills by making the fire, feeding the huskies and of course by heating the traditional sauna in the evening at the wilderness
cabin. Overnight at the wilderness cabin with shared facilities and rooms*. Driving distance is about 25km
per day.

Start Your Snowmobile Engines

Speed things up a little and start the snowmobile engines! Ride through the snow-covered forests and over the frozen lakes and admire the vast wilderness of Finnish Lapland. On this 5-hour snowmobile tour you will
share a snowmobile and change the driver halfway. Lunch is enjoyed during the tour.

How to behave in sauna and what is the best way to dip into the ice-cold lake. Our guided sauna experience takes you through the history of Finnish saunas and introduces you to different sauna types in the Arctic Sauna World.

The Reindeer

Embark on a journey deep into the snowy wilderness of the Arctic, where you’ll meet a herd of majestic reindeer in their natural habitat. Your adventure begins with a scenic ride in a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile, gliding through snow-covered forests and open Arctic landscapes. Upon reaching the reindeer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to observe the reindeer up close, learn about their care, and hear fascinating stories
about the traditions and practices of local reindeer herding.

Your guide, a local reindeer herder, will share insights into the year-round cycle of reindeer husbandry and its vital role in the region’s culture and way of life. During the experience, we’ll take a break in a lean-on-hut where you can warm up with frying sausages and enjoying coffee, hot juice and local sweet pastries by the fire. Reindeer Avenue is a one-of-a-kind experience that blends adventure, culture, and the peaceful charm of the Arctic wilderness – a memory to cherish forever.
