Harriniva Hotels & Safaris is located in Muonio, Finnish Lapland. We have three holiday destinations, Harriniva Adventure Resort, Jeris Lakeside Resort and Torassieppi Eco Reindeer resort.

Each one has it’s own specialities and unique characters. We offer package holidays in each destinations throughout the winter season.

Family business since day one

We’re a family business in the third generation. It all started with grandfather Hansi and grandmother Eini Pietikäinen setting up a riverside camping ground in 1973.

With half a century of know-how, a professional staff, and a great deal of returning customers, we continue to create unique outdoor experiences and time again welcome people back to our beautiful natural landscape.

Did you know that Muonio, Lapland is situated directly under the aurora belt. This means that during solar maximum season we have auroras statistically every second night!

Harriniva Hotels & Safaris is one of the pioneers in Northern lights holidays. Our adventures take you literally in the middle of nowhere to witness the magnificent phenomena.


Our guides follow auroral activity and weather forecasts to provide you with optimal chance to see auroras. We also provide an aurora alarm system that relies on visual sighting of auroras rather than general satellite data.
